Review:

Huanastone's music is one that is firmly rooted in Grunge, Fuzz and Stoner Metal but with a more Garage Rock based sound. It's quite a loud and boisterous affair with the band playing a more rough and ready kind of Stoner Metal. It's a pleasant change to the more well-produced albums currently out there. It shows you that Huanastone are driven by a more direct DIY Punk based vibe.

The vocals by Tobias may not have the most polished of vocals but he sure has a great voice especially on Eye On Walrus and Flush. Huanastone are influenced by the Doom/Hard Rock bands of the 70s and the classic grunge sounds of the 90s. It's an interesting sound as the album holds your attention from the very start. Huanastone add a heavier sludge rock groove on the later stages of the album.

I feel that Haunastone are influenced by The Melvins as they create a similar atmosphere where anything goes. As long as it sounds FUCKING HEAVY!!!!

You would think that Huanastone are from Seattle and not Sweden where the band is from. We all know that Sweden is perhaps the one of the best places to find your current favourite Doom/Stoner Metal bands. Though Huanastone embrace the legendary Grunge scene with open arms. It's not an easy album to listen to as the sound can be very distracting at times but Huanastone will soon win you over.

My advice, sit back and enjoy the ride. Haunastone are in charge and for the next 30 minutes, they will entertain the FUCKING HELL OUT OF YOU!!!
