Can you give a brief history of the band of how it came together and where it is today?
Dark Ocean Circle was founded during the Covid-19 pandemic in Stockholm by friends and by advertisement, as it usually are. The idea and purpose is to play Heavy Music in genre´s like Heavy Rock, Riffrock, Stoner, Desert, Fuzzrock and Fuzzy doom.
Our influences are broad and starts in the late 60´s early 70´s with Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. As life goes on the music that affected us was the 80´s metal and 90´s grunge together with the stoner, doom, trash and death music that arose during this time. Now we look back at our musical influences and close the Circle with heavy fuzzy riffs, a progressive touch, psychedelic jams and a willingness to add something extra. Now we just released our first EP in digital and in 2022 we will release a CD and Vinyl with Oziumrecords.

We call it Fuzz Rock as we don't stay in one genre such as stoner or doom, we also pick groove from the seventies, energy from heavy rock and mix with grunge and parts of psychedelic.
What is the best release that folks should check out from your band?
Our EP ”Bottom of the Ocean” contain the mix and variety we want to spread from doomy riffs to kicking rock´n´roll.
