Review

Bow Down To Me is the latest single from Doom/Stoner Rockers Flamebearer and is from their forthcoming new album due out later this year. The song is quite a fast-paced affair with a HEAVY PUNK aesthetic fully coming at you from the very start which has shades of KVELERTAK in places. The sound is pure HEAVY METAL escapism in the best possible way with flashes of Doom Metal and Stoner Metal holding everything together.

The vocals are PUNK ROCK and NWOBHM obsessive which gives Flamebearer a gritty approach to their music with flashes of Old School Rock & Roll FURY adding to the overall charm of the song. You can hear traces of MOTORHEAD and TURBONEGRO in the band’s music which was a major part of their last record. The music is lean, mean, aggressive and also so damn catchy with the splendid rhythms, grooves and hooks that Flamebearer include within a concise four and a half minutes timeframe.

Bow Down To Me is a great track and shows great promise for their forthcoming new album. Check this out and you’ll be shouting out at the top of your lungs and rocking out like a bastard in no time at all.
