THE LONG ROAD has been a long time coming for Bandshee. They started kicking around the idea of a Lord of the Rings/ Led Zeppelin IV concept project in 2021 and in 2024 finally hit the studio armed with a lot more than a few ditties about elves. THE LONG ROAD has become, for its creators, at least, an album about the times we're living in, the social injustices, bigotry, the wealth disparities. I dunno, maybe these things are the orcs we have to fight. I brought a wizard staff microphone to the fight, what about you?
