An army of sound marching, relentlessly surging like a merciless avalanche of mayhem and distortion. BIFTER arise with a sonic boom of fuzz laden riffs and weave a demented tapestry of stoner, sludge and doom. Soul crushing dual vocals feature atop a violent wall of guitar, bass and drums.
Hell raising headline tours have seen BIFTER spread their eye watering riffs all around Australia. Playing heavyweight shows with Astrodeath, The Ugly Kings and at Sunburn Stoner Doom Festival to name a few. The band’s first international support on the Greenleaf (SWE) Tour is booked for Feb 2025, coinciding with release of the band’s new album "First Impressions of Hell."
Leading the charge is their new single “March of the Imp”, accompanied by an epic music video only fitting for the massive riffs contained within.
ABOUT THE TRACK:
“‘March of the Imp’ portrays a tale of the heinous atrocities inflicted upon a settlement of humans by the fiendish and ungodly beings known as the Imp. BIFTER purvey a duality of scorned vocals to describe the crippling horror of those experiencing this gruesome end. Swallowed up by an evil army of sound and distortion, has the fate of the humans been sealed?”
A horrified shriek splits the night, and alarm bells ring out over rising cries of panic.
They are coming.
An unholy army blots out the very stars in the sky, the sound of the bells lost under the thunderous beating of leathery black wings.
Arise.
For now is death.
The Imp has come.
