Satan Therapist, the purveyors of heavy-groove, prog infused stoner metal, have announced the release of their highly anticipated first single, "Witch Piss". The track is set to drop on the most fitting of dates: October 31st, 2025 – Halloween.
Known for their twisty riffs, psychedelic breakdowns, and lyrical exploration of the dark and the absurd, Satan Therapist continues to solidify their position as proggy stoner metal masters. "Witch Piss" promises to be an absolutely filthy debut, offering fans a bone-jarring blend of relentless drumming, fuzz-drenched bass, sci-fi theremin, and menacing keyboard and guitar work that conjures the specter of ritualistic doom.
"This stanky little number is sure to set the vibe right to cap off a spooky October," says frontman and bassist, Lucas Segall. "With its haunting intro that builds up to an evil cacophony, you know that nothing is quite going to be ok ever again!"
The single was recorded deep in the heart of the Okanagan Valley at Archouse Studios, capturing a raw, uncompromising energy that has become the band's signature. It is a sonic journey that will appeal to fans of High on Fire, Sleep, and Mastodon.

Review
Witch Piss is the debut single from Doom/Stoner Metallers Satan Therapist which is being released on Halloween. This is from their upcoming debut album and this is a great sign of what to expect from this seriously deranged band. As the band focus upon spooky grooves, psychedelic melodies and over the top Space Rock themes especially with the dramatic use of the THEREMIN.
Satan Therapist are more closely aligned to the likes of SLEEP, HIGH ON FIRE and MASTODON with their progressive outlook which appears out of nowhere. The music is quite BOLD and WHOLLY AGGRESSIVE which sees the band move away from the usual WEEDIAN tropes and rely on a distorted level of heaviness and sadistic humour that appears within their music.
The vocals remind me of early era MASTODON at the best of times with the band soon bringing influences such as PRIMUS and MELVINS into the mix for an exciting finish with JAZZY instrumental passages and warped sludgy grooves that allows Satan Therapist to have a warped and highly creative charm of their own making.
