Chris Peters - Everything

Review

A New Dimension is the debut album from Fuzz Sagrado.

A Psychedelic/Fuzz/Desert/Prog/Krautrock band. This is the new project from Samsara Blues Experiment main creative force Chris Peters and this is mostly in the similar way of that great band but with Chris doing a more Progressive and Krautrock style. The new project also has elements of music that Chris hasn’t tried before but if you’re a fan of Samsara Blues Experiment then you should like this new studio project.

The album is deeply rooted in Seventies Musical Hard Rock territory with the songs being quite off-beat, quirky and essentially CLASSIC ROCK all the way through. The opening song A New Dimension allows the listener to understand how the album will play out with epic grooves, guitar solos and Psychedelic Classic Rock even moving into modern-day Desert/Stoner Rock.

The music does have an experimental flow to it with Chris playing heavy grooves and then switching to a more “Jazzy” approach which adds the layers of KRAUTROCk and FUZZ ROCK.

I’m not going to delve too deeply into the remaining songs of the album. As the music speaks for itself. Chris already has a fantastic reputation within the Stoner Rock community and he proves one again that he’s one of the most versatile and dynamic musicians within the scene. Fuzz Sagrado is a testament to Chris’s talent and musical vision with the music being quite complex and adventurous from start to finish.

Other great songs to check out are: Lunik IX, In Her Garden, The Mushroom Park, Furthur and Crashing Crusade. As these songs perhaps have the most addictive and coolest grooves on the entire album.

If you want a Psychedelic Desert Rock/Krautrock record with a mind of it’s own and one that sounds totally different to what’s currently out there then Fuzz Sagrado have you covered.

Excellent and Highly Recommended.

You can read more about this musical project from the recent Introduce Yourselves article that Chris recently submitted to the blog.
