Wasteland Sludgers SARAKSH Unleash Relentless Second Single "Confinement: Bottom Deep"!

Following the intense first glimpse offered by "Forlorn", German Wasteland Sludgers SARAKSH have unleashed "Confinement: Bottom Deep", the second single from their upcoming full-length album "Abiram" (out November 20, 2026). Diving even deeper into the record's dark and narrative universe, the new track reinforces the band's signature blend of nerve-crushing riffs and atmospheric depth.

- Listen to "Confinement: Bottom Deep" HERE -

Founded in 2018 by guitarist/vocalist Severin Mäker, the dystopian/sci-fi-influenced project SARAKSH counts three releases so far, with 'Moloch: refactored' (2023) marking a plunge into a more conceptual approach to the themes of SARAKSH. Contrasting its brutalist title track with three concentrated tracks 'Drive', 'R.T.W.Y.A.' and 'Eden in Waste', the quartet delivers by navigating between groove-oozing and nerve-crushing riffs, whilst chaotic outbursts are eerily surrounded by psychotic, then liberating chants, just to be completely resolved in proliferated guitar layers and atmospheric, synth-driven passages.

Being influenced by the likes of Converge, Ulcerate, Totem Skin and Omega Massif, the band keeps their organic, yet tight playing style very closely tied to the aspect of musical storytelling. Thus, the upcoming album "Abiram" picks up right where the grand finale of the title track from the band’s last release left off, in which the wanderer leaves 'Moloch' full of despair and hopelessness.

02. Confinement: Carving Me
03. Confinement: Circles

"Abiram" arrives on November 20, self-released by SARAKSH.

American guitarist Jason Walker to issue Jason Walker's Gravity Amplifiers debut album (featuring Nick Oliveri and Mucho Drums) on Ripple Music this fall!

American heavy metal guitarist Jason Walker signs to Ripple Music for the release of his debut solo project JASON WALKER'S GRAVITY AMPLIFIERS — featuring drummer Mucho Drums and bassist Nick Oliveri — on November 20th, and presents the debut track today!

Stream debut single The Powerful Lie (featuring Nick Oliveri)

Jason Walker has spent years channeling a singular obsession into sound: the unwavering belief that we are not alone in the universe. Long before the New York Times forced the Pentagon's UFO programs into the public eye in 2017, Walker was already a witness, and his debut solo album Disclosure Vol. 1 is his testimony.

Backed by Mucho Drums (El Perro, Great Electric Quest) and featuring guest bassist Nick Oliveri (Queens of the Stone Age, Mondo Generator) on half the record, Walker builds a heavy, layered guitar album that works on two levels. On the surface, these are songs about an incident, about humanity, about contact. Beneath it, they're work as allegories about a kid who never felt like he belonged, about instinct, about the strange isolation of seeing something the rest of the world wasn't ready to see. Equal parts riff-centric heavy metal and deeply personal reckoning, Disclosure Vol. 1 is a powerful concept release and a sonic statement all at once.

Debut album "Jason Walker's Gravity Amplifiers"
Out November 20th on Ripple Music (LP/CD/digital) - PRE-ORDER

Jason Walker's musical journey began unusually early, with his first instrument being a makeshift drum kit built from coffee cans and welding rods. His first concert — Crosby, Stills and Nash — solidified his path toward guitar, and he began learning on his father's 12-string acoustic. By age 14, he was already being paid to play, armed with a late-'70s Marshall JMP and a Les Paul Standard. Walker joined the Gene Simmons Band after being recommended by drummer Brian Tichy and passing an audition. He has since toured extensively and established a strong on-stage presence throughout countless shows across North America.

Jason Walker's Gravity Amplifiers is:

Jason Walker — guitar & vocals
Mucho Drums — drums
Nick Oliveri — bass

Band Bio

Hailing from Stoke-on-Trent, Mushroom Beard are a psychedelic stoner doom trio forging colossal riffs from fuzz, groove, and cosmic haze. Formed by three members of Quiet the Thief, the band marks a deliberate shift into heavier territory—slower, thicker, and unapologetically immersive.

Blending crushing doom with swirling psychedelic textures, Mushroom Beard create a dense sound built on down tuned guitars, thunderous low-end, and hypnotic rhythms. Their music draws listeners into a tripped-out atmosphere where melody and distortion collide.

In 2026, Mushroom Beard bring their fuzz-fuelled ritual to stages including Idlefest (Bradford) and Smoke on Trent VI, while preparing to unleash their self-titled debut album.

Album Overview

Mushroom Beard was born from a desire to explore heavier, slower, and more immersive sounds. The self-titled debut concept album is rooted in colossal riffs, psychedelic atmospheres, and a fascination with mythology, nature, transformation, and escapism.

Across six tracks, the band weave stories of ancient beings, cosmic journeys, woodland spirits, and strange encounters. The album balances crushing heaviness with moments of reflection and wonder, creating a listening experience that feels both primal and otherworldly.

The record also features a special guest appearance from Dan Flitcroft (Sergeant Thunderhoof), whose vocal performance, vocal melody and arrangement on Speech of Leaf and Beard adds another dimension to the album's woodland mysticism.

At its heart, Mushroom Beard is an invitation to get lost in the groove and emerge somewhere unexpected.

Heavy Psych Metallers EMPATH announces self-titled debut album and releases first single 'Lyca's Lost'

EMPATH - Photo by Martin Goltermann

Listen to EMPATH's debut single 'Lyca's Lost' HERE

The Copenhagen, Denmark based heavy rock band Empath makes their debut with the self-titled album set for a release on November 13th 2026 through Indisciplinarian. Empath finds its creative core in the songwriting duo of vocalist Morten Grønnegaard and guitarist Jacob Krogholt who share a past in the metal band Rising. But with the new constellation completed on the debut album by bass player KB Larsen (Volbeat, Anti Ritual), and drummer Jeppe Munk Aakeson (Knytnæve, Iota), a new unique artistic path has been carved out.

Today, Empath shares the first single of the album with the psychedelic heavy rock anthem ‘Lyca’s Lost’ - a song that touches on the alienation between generations imagined in the sci-fi theme of parallel worlds and different dimensions.

‘Empath’ is produced by KB Larsen and Empath, mastered by Brad Boatright and has artwork from lead singer Morten Grønnegaard. The album will be released on vinyl in two editions with 100 transparent blue copies and 100 black copies as well as all digital formats. All editions and formats can be pre-ordered and pre-saved HERE.

Also, Empath announces their debut show at A Colossal Kind of X-mas at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen on December 11th alongside a string of prominent heavy Danish artists - tickets can be purchased HERE.

‘Empath’ consists of eight songs of great variety shaping an album that carries itself with focused musical narrative throughout its 38 minutes. Musically, EMPATH has its roots in heavy, progressive and psychedelic rock and metal of the 70’s and 80’s. A contemporary, organic production serves the intricate and melodic song material well and with the addition of synths reminiscent of old sci-fi soundtracks, the band delivers a heavy, rich and atmospheric sound, thus carrying the virtuous torch of their musical heroes into the future.

Thematically ‘Empath’ deals with the nature of man, the consequences of our ambition and dreams, as laid bare in our present capitalistic society with escalating climate change, inequality, isolation and conflict on the horizon. Inspired by sci-fi literature from the last century and experimental poetry works from the romantic era, the lyrics of Morten Grønnegaard dig into various ideas that gripped writers and thinkers such as Arthur C. Clarke, William Blake and Thomas De Quincey. Even though the subjects often dwelled into the fever dreams and far away futures of humankind, they resonate very well with where and what we are as humans today.

Stoner Rock Giants DOZER to issue "Reflect to Rewind: A Rarities Collection" 2xLP on November 13th via Blues Funeral Recordings; preorder available!

Swedish heavy rock titans DOZER announce the release of a new collection entitled "Reflect to Rewind: A Rarities Collection", to be issued on 2xLP, CD and digital this November 13th via Blues Funeral Recordings.

Having celebrated their 30th year in 2025 and undertaken back-to-back North American tours, DOZER return with a scorching new collection encompassing even more of their astonishing and prolific history as they enter their fourth decade as Scandinavia's preeminent desert rock band.

Their newest Blues Funeral Recordings release Reflect to Rewind is a double album array of rare tracks, b-sides and singles unearthed from the archives and spanning the band's extensive fuzz-fueled career. Once more, they tapped longtime collaborator Karl Daniel Lidén to painstakingly remaster this volume track by track, enlivening and energizing each gem and showing that they not only deserved but demanded to be brought forth as reflections of DOZER's timeless and unassailable heavy rocking righteousness.

Formed in 1995 in the town of Borlänge, Sweden, DOZER led the earliest wave of stoner/desert rock, a fusion of proto-metal, riff-rock and punk that blasted forth from Scandinavia and Europe in response to the tectonic heft and sun-baked fuzz of American bands Kyuss and Fu Manchu.

30 years on, DOZER are heralded as undisputed forerunners of a movement and champions of volcanic energy. Their status was affirmed in 2023 with the release of the landmark Drifting in the Endless Void, an amp-splitting return that dominated best-of lists and turntables, hailed as "a magnetic fireball of propulsive hooks and cosmic majesty" by Decibel Magazine. This renewed dominance led to DOZER’s first US tour in 20 years and set the stage for their three-decade milestone in 2025.

DOZER have always been prolific. Driven by take-no-prisoners energy, they'd hit the studio often, laying down songs in rapid-fire batches with little concern for schedules and album planning, and their early days saw the band self-release a multitude of small-run 7-inch singles that tapped into their DIY leanings and allowed forward momentum at maximum velocity. More songs surfaced on compilations and as limited-release b-sides, while others went into the proverbial vault.

In celebration of their 30th anniversary in 2025, DOZER enthusiastically presented Rewind to Return, a double album of singles, rare tracks and b-sides from across their prolific history. Neither a chronological document nor a comprehensive collection of every non-album track, this is a carefully considered selection of the band's favorites, chosen for their meaning and impact, brilliantly remastered by Karl Daniel Lidén and assembled to create the best possible record to commemorate their vast catalog and untouchable legacy.
