Doom/Stoner Metallers Burnt Witch Unleash Crushing Electric Wizard Cover "We Hate You" Exclusively on Bandcamp

WEST TENNESSEE - Fresh off the world premiere of the track on The Zach Moonshine Show on Metal Devastation Radio, West Tennessee doom outfit Burnt Witch have officially unleashed their crushing rendition of "We Hate You," originally performed by legendary British doom pioneers Electric Wizard.

The cover is available exclusively on Bandcamp , giving doom devotees an early opportunity to experience Burnt Witch's massive reinterpretation before it arrives on additional streaming platforms at a later date.

Rather than simply recreating a classic, Burnt Witch inject their signature blend of swamp-soaked heaviness, crushing low-end, and fuzz-drenched atmosphere into the iconic track while paying respect to one of doom metal's most revered influences.

The release follows the growing momentum surrounding the band after their acclaimed EP Dopelich , which earned recognition from Weedian's "Best Releases" spotlight. Burnt Witch have continued building a reputation throughout the underground with their uncompromising approach to doom and sludge, drawing attention from fans across the heavy music community.

The band also recently appeared on The Zach Moonshine Show for an in-depth interview discussing their evolution, gear, songwriting, and the growing Memphis doom scene, while also shining a spotlight on the upcoming Delta Doom Fest , scheduled for October 17, 2026, at Growlers in Memphis, Tennessee.

Fans of Electric Wizard, traditional doom, sludge, and riff-driven heavy music won't want to miss Burnt Witch's crushing take on this underground classic.

DOOM/SLUDGE METAL MONSTERS - FROGLORD – “THE MYSTIC TOAD” VINYL REPRESS + NEW BONUS SINGLE “CROAK”

Black Throne Productions is proud to announce the long awaited vinyl repress of Froglord’s cult amphibious doom opus The Mystic Toad, arriving this summer alongside the brand new bonus single “Croak”, due for release on June 3.

Following the massive success of their sixth album Lower & Slower, the UK’s favourite Amphibious Swamp Doom outfit return to Loveland once again, delivering another monstrous collision of cryptid horror and swamp soaked doom in collaboration with the creators of the Frogman film saga.

Dallas Kyle’s journey into the mysteries of Loveland, Ohio continues in Frogman Returns, as Froglord once again provide the perfect sonic pairing to the film’s chaotic found footage horror. Combining swamp worshipping riffs, towering fuzz and cinematic atmosphere, the band continue expanding the mythology that has made them one of the UK underground doom scene’s most recognisable cult names.

The new single “Croak” expands the world of The Mystic Toad even further, serving as both a standalone amphibious sludge anthem and an essential addition to this definitive repress. Filthy, hypnotic and drenched in Loveland swamp energy, the track captures everything that has helped Froglord carve out a distinct identity within modern doom metal.

Originally released in 2021 in an ultra limited run of just 100 copies, The Mystic Toad has become one of the band’s most sought after releases, with fans calling for a repress for years. Partnering with Black Throne Productions finally allows the amphibian overlords to resurrect the record on vinyl once again, now featuring “Croak” as an exclusive bonus track.

The release continues the momentum built by Lower & Slower – Vol. 1, the band’s recent charity focused release supporting the Waterfowl and Wetlands Trust, which raised close to £1,000 for conservation efforts connected to the UK wetlands that inspired Froglord’s swamp dwelling mythology.

FFO: Electric Wizard, Conan, Weedeater, Acid Mammoth, cryptid folklore, swamp horror cinema, found footage terror

To support the release of “Croak” and The Mystic Toad repress, Froglord will tour across the UK this July for a two week run supporting Bat Sabbath, the Black Sabbath worshipping alter egos of Cancer Bats. Personally invited by Cancer Bats frontman Liam Cormier, the tour marks another huge step forward for the Bristol swamp dwellers following an increasingly explosive rise through the UK underground doom scene.

The tour also sees Froglord returning to Bloodstock Open Air for the festival’s 25th anniversary celebrations, alongside a debut appearance at Stoomfest London alongside bands including Stoned Jesus and Colour Haze.

Known for immersive live performances blending psychedelic sludge, creature feature horror and ritualistic swamp theatrics, Froglord continue building a world entirely of their own. Equal parts doom metal performance and amphibious fever dream, the band’s live reputation has rapidly transformed them into one of the UK underground’s most distinctive heavy acts.

DOOM/SLUDGE/STONER METALLERS FROGLORD UNVEIL NEW SINGLE “CROAK” AHEAD OF THE MYSTIC TOAD VINYL REPRESS

Emerging from the hidden swamps of Bristol, Froglord return with another colossal chapter in their ever-expanding amphibious mythology as Black Throne Productions announces the long-awaited vinyl repress of the cult favourite The Mystic Toad, arriving this summer alongside brand new single and music video “Croak”, due for release on 3 June.

Blending crushing sludge riffs, psychedelic doom, cinematic atmosphere, and environmental storytelling, Froglord have carved out one of the UK underground’s most imaginative identities through their immersive narrative world known as The Tale of The Froglord. Their sound exists somewhere between myth, ritual, and towering fuzz-drenched heaviness.

The new single “Croak” expands the mythology surrounding The Mystic Toad while dragging listeners deeper into Froglord’s swamp-soaked universe of subterranean grooves and amphibious horror. The track will appear both as a standalone release and as an exclusive addition to the definitive vinyl repress.

Following the success of Lower & Slower, the band once again descend into the cryptid-haunted world of Loveland, Ohio through their continued collaboration with the creators of the cult horror film Frogman. Froglord contribute to the upcoming sequel Frogman Returns, continuing Dallas Kyle’s terrifying investigation into the legendary amphibian cryptid lurking beneath the town’s folklore.

Their oppressive sonic landscapes sit naturally alongside the film’s found-footage aesthetic, blurring the line between doom metal and cinematic unease. Froglord previously contributed the official track “Frogman” alongside “Amphibian Ascending”, “Swamp Boogie”, and “Frogspawn” to the original film soundtrack, with their involvement culminating in a unique live performance during the UK IMAX screening at Bristol Aquarium.

Beyond the mythology lies a genuine environmental message. Froglord actively support the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, donating proceeds from releases and merchandise toward wetland restoration efforts across the UK.

To support the release of “Croak” and The Mystic Toad repress, Froglord will embark on a UK tour this July supporting Bat Sabbath, the Black Sabbath-worshipping alter ego of Cancer Bats, before returning to Bloodstock Open Air Festival and making their debut at Stoom Festival in London.

FROGLORD UNVEIL MYSTERY BONUS SINGLE AHEAD OF THE MYSTIC TOAD VINYL REPRESS

Swamp doom favourites Froglord begin the next chapter of their ever expanding amphibious universe with the reveal of a mystery bonus single, set to feature on the long awaited vinyl repress of The Mystic Toad, released via Black Throne Productions.

This news teases an unnamed addition to the reissue, the mystery single will also arrive as a standalone release on 3 June. The release follows the momentum of the band’s sixth album Lower & Slower, continuing to deepen their immersive world of sludge heavy grooves, psychedelic doom, and swamp soaked mythology rooted in The Tale of The Froglord.

Emerging from Bristol’s underground, Froglord have carved out a distinctive identity through dense, fuzz driven riffs and conceptual storytelling. With this new release, that world expands further, not only as a new piece of music, but as part of a wider creative collaboration.

Reuniting with the team behind the cult horror film Frogman, the band contribute to the soundtrack of its upcoming sequel Frogman Returns. The film follows Dallas Kyle as he continues his investigation into the amphibian cryptid of Loveland, Ohio. Froglord’s murky, submerged sound sits naturally within the film’s found footage aesthetic, adding a layer of tension that bridges the gap between doom and cinematic unease.

The inclusion of the track on The Mystic Toad repress marks a significant moment for the band, bringing renewed focus to one of their most sought after releases while expanding its place within the wider Froglord universe.

To support the release, Froglord will take their live show across the UK this July, joining Bat Sabbath (the Black Sabbath tribute project featuring members of Cancer Bats) for a two week run. Alongside the tour, the band are set for key festival appearances including a return to Bloodstock Open Air and their debut at Stoomfest London.

With new material, a growing presence in film, and a packed summer schedule ahead, Froglord continue to establish themselves as one of the UK underground’s most distinctive and imaginative voices in doom.
