Megamouth is an album that reflects post-pandemic anger. Composed in between 2021 and 2022 and recorded in mid-2023, Megamouth features ten hard-charging tracks dripping with fat-fuzzy guitars, cheeky pumping basslines and furious drumming.
Megamouth consolidates The Clamps’ well-recognizable high-adrenaline energetic sound squeezing rock n’roll, stoner and speedrock into a solid track list that will make you jump on a car, turn the volume up and push the damn gas like a mothefucking drag racer from the seventies. Then you stop at a gasoline station, hail to Lemmy, share a couple of pints with Hellacopters and tell Fu Manchu to pay the bill!!”
Bio
The debut album DEADLY KICK FOR A FAT FUCKER was out in 2013 for GO DOWN RECORDS and the band started to hit the road few months later for plenty of shows.
The Clamps joined the HPS family in 2017, when their second album BLEND, SHAKE, SWALLOW was released. Throughout the years, these guys toured Italy and Europe sharing the stage with bands such as 1000 Mods, Black Rainbows, Nashville Pussy, Black Tusk, Valient Thorr, Pontiac, Valley of the Sun, Alabama Thunderpussy and many more.
The Clamps third album MEGAMOUTH will be out in 2024 for HEAVY PSYCH SOUNDS RECORDS… stay tuned!
