Introduce Yourselves: Invisible Men

What is the name of your band?

Invisible Men

What is the genre of music that you play?

We've carved out a blend of various rock sub-genres, encompassing melodic grunge, power pop, punk and a slight touch of sludge.

Can you give a brief history of the band of how it came together and where it is today?

Invisible Men was born in 2022, in the quaint village of Rognes, nestled in a serene corner of southern France. It's a peaceful haven, where dirty guitar, strong riffs, harsh vocals and energic drumming has become the unexpected soundtrack for the daily lives of tranquil inhabitants.

The initial seeds were sown when Antoine Puaux (lead vocals / guitar) and Sébastien Gils (vocals / bass), decided to collaborate and channel their shared passion for heavy and loud power-packed music. The lineup was completed with the addition of Julien Liphard on drums and Christophe Cosson handling rhythmic guitars and backing vocals.

What can people expect from your music?

Our music offers a sonic trip that's both familiar and novel. You'll encounter the soulful, deep, smoky voice of our lead singer, Antoine. Our layered vocal harmonies provide a contrast, adding depth to the raw power of the lead vocals. We strive to immerse listeners into a soundscape filled with invigorating energy, intricately layered guitar riffs, and the explosive roar of saturated guitars, all contributing to a dense, immersive sound.

However, we're not all about the loud and heavy. We also create space for quieter, more intimate moments. Our acoustic interludes and songs like "Not Winning You" present a gentler, more introspective side of our music.

What is the best release that folks should check out from your band?

We're a bit limited on options since the band just started! So, we highly recommend our debut album "Re:Bored". It's an all-inclusive package.
