Psych Stoner Rockers Locomotiva Elétrica Premiere New Song FUNERAL From Upcoming New EP: "Os Animais que nos Habitam”

In This Friday the Brazilian instrumental rock band Locomotiva Elétrica presents their new single “Funeral”, the first piece from the next studio material, the EP “Os Animais que nos Habitam”. With the release being conducted by the label Abraxas Records the song opens the promotional activities for his next studio material with a promising strength!

The single “Funeral” is the first sample of the band's new studio material and will be officially released on January 12th on streaming through Abraxas Records. The track, composed by guitarist Murilo Neumann, features as its concept and backdrop a wake witnessed by Murilo and keyboardist Lucas. The dark mood is reflected through the dense and heavy introduction of the track, with the keyboards creating a psychedelic and gloomy atmosphere and being driven by a guitar pouring chords full of fuzz and tribal drums. The track sets the tone for the band's next EP, full of details, layers and magnetism.

The band, which has played at renowned Brazilian festivals such as Pira Rural (RS), Vênus Rock (RS) and Revirada Bruxólica (SC), arrives in 2023 with material that exudes maturity, evolution and awareness, bringing new vigor to Instrumental Rock . Formed in mid-2014 from jams made between friends Murilo Neumann (guitar), Lucas Stein (keyboard) and Eduardo Camini (drums), the band Locomotiva Elétrica presents a lysergic and visceral sound, an electrifying and captivating tour of the Rock from the 60s and 70s, by Post Rock and Stoner. The trio's hypnotic musicality draws from different sources and takes the listener on an intriguing journey, made up of several nuances. The group debuted in Studio in “2016” with the EP “Manual dos Delírios Cotidianos”, a work of five original tracks, and culminates in their new EP showing even more maturity and commitment.
